Karen Smith is retired major case detective with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. During her career she conducted 500 death investigations and 20,000 other cases. She is currently the owner of Bare Bones Consulting, an independent company offering crime scene and cold case analysis, bloodstain pattern analysis and crime scene reconstruction services.
