William F. Thomas's sister Cathleen was the first victim in the Colonial Parkway Murders. Cathy, a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and just 27 at the time of her death, was one of at least eight victims believed to have been murdered by a Virginia-area serial killer in the late 1980s. No arrests have ever been made in the case. Bill is a leading advocate for families of the victims as well as an entertainment industry executive who has worked in leadership roles for artist advocacy organizations including SAG-AFTRA, the Art Directors Guild, the American Federation of Musicians and ASCAP. He lives in Los Angeles, California.
