Billy Jensen is an investigative journalist focused squarely on unsolved murders and missing persons. After being sick and tired of writing stories with no endings, he developed a system to help solve murders himself, merging geotargeted social media campaigns with shoeleather reporting work. He is now called upon as a consulting detective by police departments when all other avenues have been exhausted. A friend of Michelle McNamara’s, Jensen helped finish her book on the Golden State Killer, I’ll Be Gone in the Dark, along with McNamara’s researcher and husband.
