Juan Martinez is a Maricopa County prosecutor and is counted amongst the top death-penalty prosecutors in Arizona. He gained prominence prosecuting Jodi Arias for the murder of Travis Alexander. A graduate of Arizona State University, Martinez was admitted to the bar in 1984 and joined the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office in 1988. He is the author of the bestselling book Conviction: The Untold Story of Putting Jodi Arias Behind Bars.
